Hello! My name is Alex Odam, a UK-based Director of Photography • Editor • Colourist & Musician.

I make films, documentaries, commercials and music videos. I've collaborated with some of the UK's top online creators, and worked with clients including Google, Channel 4 and the BBC. 

My skills include:

  • Production: Cinematography, Lighting, Directing & AC

  • Post Production: Editing, Colour Grading, Motion Graphics, Scoring, Subtitles & VFX

  • Design: Branding, Templates, Posters & UI

  • Music: Arranger & Composer, Film Scores, Multi-Instrumentalist, Alternative / Psychedelic Rock & Incidental Music etc…

Channel 4 - Director of Photography for 'Sex, Apps & Me' a short documentary.

BBC / Boundless - I was part of the BBC's 'The Apprentice' team from 2013-2021, appearing in every series as an on-screen Cinematographer / Editor for the candidates.

Bite the Ballot - I created a commercial for Bite The Ballot, which helped sign up almost 500,000 young voters. I was also involved in Starbucks’ Bite The Ballot Verto capaign.

SBTV - Director of Photography & Editor for the 'At Home With: Live Performance' series.

BBC - 2 episodes of the 'Make it Digital' Campaign, created to inspire 11- to 16-year-olds.

DIOR - Director of Photography from build to show for the first DIOR Men’s fashion show in London for 75 years.
